Troglodytic manor house and outbuildings adorned with sculptures and inscriptions in the early Renaissance style. Inside the dwelling, the great hall features a monumental fireplace and 16th-century wall paintings. The first floor is dedicated to Ronsard, with an exhibition of portraits and panels evoking his life and work.
The gardens, created in 2020, are freely inspired by the style and vocabulary of the Renaissance to bring them into harmony with the spirit of the manor house. They include a rose garden, a labyrinth, a bosco, a green room, a pergola, a vegetable garden, etc. The design is largely based on the plants and landscape themes found in Ronsard's prose, such as the rose, of course, but also the apricot tree, the vine and the laurel. In this way, the gardens will resonate with the words of the prince of poets, the place where he spent his childhood, and the flowers and plants he loved.
