Twenty churches to visit
- The miraculous catch of fishes to be discovered in the capitular room of the Trinity Abbey in Vendôme.
- Christ in majesty in the Saint Gilles chapel in Montoire-sur-le-Loir (see the full-scale reconstitution at the Cité de I’Architecture in Paris).
- Saint-Genest church in Lavardin, one of the “most beautiful villages of France”.
- Saint-Jacques-des-Guérets church at the foot of the little troglodytic town of Trôo.
- Areines church with 12th century frescos.
- Saint-Calais church in Meslay with 20th century Byzantine-style paintings.
Along this circuit, all together there are about twenty churches that can be visited every day from Easter to All Saints’ Day.
